How we can help

Bringing Out the Best in Your Acoustic

Acoustic guitars can be incredibly sensitive to changes in weather and humidity, often leading to a high, uncomfortable string action. With three full-time techs in our Perth workshop, we have the hands-on experience to carefully adjust your neck and saddle to make playing a breeze again.

We focus on preserving the natural resonance of the instrument while making sure you don't have to fight the strings just to play a chord.

Acoustic Servicing Includes:

Saddle height adjustments for a comfortable, easy playing action.
Truss rod tweaks to keep the neck perfectly straight.
Fretboard conditioning to prevent the timber from drying out.
Detailed cleaning and polishing to keep it looking brilliant.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Best in the biz. Wouldn't trust my guitars with anyone else. Taken many guitars to them over the years - even the most challenging jobs come out feeling like a million bucks.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have fairly cheap guitars but they were treated here with utmost respect and care. My 4 instruments now have proper intonation, tune well and sound incredible.

Many thanks for the professionalism, friendly atmosphere and amazing attitude.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. James used his Jedi-like guitar tech skills to make both my acoustics sound great! Shame he can’t magically improve the player too… Profret come highly recommended from me!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Last minute job to replace a pot of a guitar. The guys were onto it. And offered some good advice on other unrelated guitar queries. Definately recommended.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. You crushed it. Now it feels custom shop, set by my own personal tech. So happy.
It’s finally feeling like the best guitar I’ve ever played. Also so glad you guys had a chance to muck around with it too.
Thanks James - outstanding fretwork and setup mate.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The staff here are geniuses, and total legends too. Can't recommend Profret enough. It's quickly become my go to for professional setups. I've taken three fairly different guitars for various mods and setups, and they've all come back as the best versions of themselves.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amateur guitarist here! Was initially nervous to book in, thinking my skill level was not enough to warrant such a speciality service. The care and attention they give to each guitar and their customer service is excellent. Took time to answer any and all Qs. I've come away and cannot put down my acoustic guitar. No more mystery buzz and the sound is beautiful. To anyone contemplating whether or not to book in, do it. You will not regret it. Thanks and see you next year profret.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I've had 7 guitars/basses set-up or modified and they've always come back exactly how I want them to play and feel. Extremely professional service and very reasonable turn around time.
